아시아 최고 중국 여성 기업가 양후이옌, 37조 재산 증발

한 때 중국에서는 주요한 부동산 개발업체로 손꼽힌 컨트리 가든은 최근 부도 위기에 처해 있습니다. 컨트리 가든은 6일에 만기 도래한 10억 달러 규모의 채권 2종에 대한 이자 2250만 달러를 상환하지 못했습니다.
컨트리 가든은 현재 디폴트 상황은 아니며, 디폴트가 선언되기까지 최종적으로 30일의 유예 기간을 가지게 됩니다.
이에 따라 홍콩에 상장된 이 회사의 주가는 전일 대비 16% 하락하여, 올해 들어서만 60% 정도 하락한 상태입니다.
이와 함께 양후이옌의 개인 재산도 최근 2년 동안 341억 달러에서 55억 달러로 크게 축소되었습니다. 이는 단순히 자산의 2년 간 변동을 의미하는 것이 아니라, 세계 부호 중에서 가장 큰 감소폭을 기록한 사례입니다.
