일본의 대표 기업들이 올해 봄철에 평균 3.6%의 임금 인상을 시행한 것으로 나타났습니다.

이로 인해 30년 만에 최고 수준의 임금 상승이 이뤄지고 있습니다. 이례적으로 높은 고물가로 인해 기업들이 임금을 상당히 높이고 있으며, 이는 일본경제의 현 상황을 반영하고 있습니다.
5일 아사히신문 등 일본 외신에 따르면, 일본 후생노동성은 자본금 10억엔 이상이며 종업원이 1000명 이상인 364개 기업을 대상으로 조사를 진행한 결과, 올해 임금 인상률이 30년 만에 최고치를 기록했습니다. 작년에는 2.2%의 임금 인상률을 보인 바 있습니다.
업종별로 살펴보면, 조선업이 5.37%로 가장 높은 인상률을 보였으며, 이어서 정밀기계 4.925%, 섬유 4.62%의 인상률을 기록했습니다.
기본급과 정기 승급에 따른 임금 상승분을 합산한 월평균 인상액은 약 10만원에 해당하는 1만1245엔으로 조사되었습니다.
또한 종업원 수가 적은 기업들은 더 높은 임금 인상률을 보였습니다. 게이단렌에 따르면, 종업원 500명 이상인 136개 기업을 대상으로 집계한 춘투 임금 인상률은 1992년 이후 최고치인 3.99%를 기록했습니다.
그러나 실질임금은 고물가 상승으로 인해 14개월 연속 하락했습니다. 6월 소비자물가 상승률은 3.3%로 지난해 4월 이후 일본은행의 목표인 2%를 웃도고 있습니다. 이에 일본은행은 올해 소비자물가 상승률 전망치를 연 2.5%로 상향 조정했습니다. 이는 일본 경제의 불안정한 상태를 반영하고 있습니다.

According to the Asahi Shimbun and other Japanese foreign media on the 5th, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare conducted a survey of 364 companies with capital of more than 1 billion yen and more than 1,000 employees, and this year’s wage increase rate hit a 30-year high. Last year, the wage increase rate was 2.2%.
By industry, the shipbuilding industry had the highest increase rate of 5.37%, followed by precision machinery with 4.925% and textiles with 4.62%.
The average monthly increase, which is about 100,000 won, was 11,245 yen, which is the sum of the basic salary and the wage increase due to the regular promotion.
Companies with fewer employees also showed higher wage increases. According to Geidanren, the increase in springtime wages for 136 companies with more than 500 employees was 3.99%, the highest since 1992.
Real wages, however, fell for the 14th consecutive month due to rising high prices. Consumer price growth in June was 3.3%, exceeding the Bank of Japan’s 2% target since April last year. In response, the Bank of Japan raised its forecast for this year’s consumer price growth to 2.5% per year. This reflects the unstable state of Japan’s economy.
