경찰 장갑차 등장, 도심 ‘살인예고’ 글 대응 강화

최근 전국적으로 흉기 난동 사건이 계속해서 발생하면서 모방 범죄 예고 글이 올라오자 경찰이 전국 곳곳에 경찰특공대와 장갑차를 배치했습니다.
5일 경찰청 대태러위기관리과에 따르면, 전국 14개지방청과 43개 지구대에 소총과 권총으로 이중무장한 경찰특공대원 107명을 전진 배치했습니다.
장갑차는 서울 강남역, 부산 서면역, 대구 중앙로역, 인천 송도 펜타포트 락 페스티벌, 광주 종합터미널, 대전 용전복합터미널, 경기남부 서현역과 수원역, 판교역, 전북 잼버리 행사장, 제주공항 등 11곳에 배치되었습니다.
경찰은 이날 오전 7시 기준으로 전국 인터넷망에 올라온 최소 42건의 살인예고 글에 대해 수사 중이며, 정오까지 작성자 18명을 검거했습니다. 검거된 이들 중에는 미성년자도 여럿 포함되어 있습니다. 경기 하남시 미사역 일대 범죄를 예고한 14세 A군은 “장난삼아 올렸다”고 경찰에 진술하기도 했습니다.
윤희근 경찰청장은 “흉기난동과 모방범죄 등 흉악범죄에 대응하기 위한 특별치안활동을 선포한다”며 “흉기난동에 대해서는 총기, 테이저건 등 정당한 경찰물리력 사용을 주저하지 않고 사용하겠다”고 밝혔습니다.

According to the National Police Agency’s Anti-Terrorism Crisis Management Division on the 5th, 107 police commandos with rifles and pistols were deployed forward to 14 local offices and 43 district units nationwide.
Armored cars were located at 11 locations, including Gangnam Station, Busan Seomyeon Station, Daegu Jungang-ro Station, Incheon Songdo Pentaport Rock Festival, Gwangju Terminal, Daejeon Yongjeon Complex Terminal, Seohyeon Station and Suwon Station in southern Gyeonggi Province, Pangyo Station, Jeonbuk Jamboree Stadium, and Jeju Airport.
The police are investigating at least 42 murder notices posted on the nation’s Internet network as of 7 a.m. that day, and arrested 18 authors by noon. Among those arrested are several minors. A 14-year-old man, who predicted a crime in Misa Station in Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, also told the police that he posted it as a joke.
Yoon Hee-geun, head of the National Police Agency, said, “We declare special security activities to respond to violent crimes such as weapon disturbances and imitation crimes,” adding, “We will not hesitate to use legitimate police forces such as guns and tasers for weapon disturbances.”
모방범죄란
