비트코인 하락세 멈추고, 여전히 2만6000달러 유지

비트코인 하락세가 완화되고 있다.
지난 48시간 동안 10% 이상 하락한 비트코인이 하락세를 완화하고, 현재 26,000달러 근처에서 안정세를 보이고 있다.
현재 시각인 20일 오전 7시 10분 기준, 비트코인은 글로벌 코인시황을 추적하는 코인마켓캡에서 24시간 전보다 0.05% 하락한 26,064달러를 기록하고 있다. 이는 지난 2개월 동안의 최저치다.
비트코인은 이전에는 26,000달러까지 급락하는 등 격변의 상황이었으나, 이제 하락세가 안정되고 있는 상황이다.

WSJ에 따르면, 스페이스X는 3억 7,300만 달러(약 5000억원) 가치의 비트코인을 전량 매각한 것으로 알려졌다.
이는 아직 확인되지 않은 소식이지만, 비트코인 하락의 주요 요인으로 여겨지고 있다. 유동성이 부족한 여름철에 이러한 소식이 퍼지면서 비트코인이 하락했다.
또한 중국의 대표적인 부동산 개발업체 에버그랜드(중국어: 헝다)가 미국 법원에 파산을 신청한 사실도 비트코인 하락의 촉매제가 됐다는 의견도 있다.
하지만 아직까지 정확한 원인은 밝혀지지 않았다.
암호화폐 전문매체 코인데스크는 “머스크나 헝다 등의 단일 사건으로 이처럼 급락하는 것은 불가능하다”며 “시장의 기본적인 신뢰 부족으로 대규모 매도가 발생한 것으로 보인다”고 분석했다.
이번 주에는 비트코인이 11% 이상 하락했지만, 연초 대비로는 여전히 57% 상승한 수준이다.
